Rick overlooking an awesome view. Remnants of the Appalachian Mountains.

The latter part of September and early October are spent in the Talladega area. This railroad bridge depicts the all-familiar wildly growing foliage at the front end of the bridge. This growth is widespread in many parts of Alabama and even though it is overcommanding on all other plant life (trees-bushes), telephone poles, wires, mailboxes-it has no barrier. Yet, it graces an overall beauty. To my surprise, Alabama has many beautiful forests and several bodies of water. Everyday brings another surprise in natural beauty and the people we meet.
